Another day, another job, and as always, the "dirty" or "difficult' tasks were designated to the Combaticons or any other "ground stomper", the brute ones, and all those stereotypes related to them. Besides fighting, Terrashock had been told to carry heavy quantities of brute energon to the transporter by himself, obviously he did not like the idea, and wanted to KILL who ordered him to do that, but as the vehicons did not tell him the name... well, he could not, but even so he had at least an idea of who would do that.
And AGAIN, he was told to patrol the area, by himself, of course, he was starting to believe they were trying to mess with him or get him offlined, because that was SO illogical that no excuses in the world could explain that. Giving a grumble, Terrashock gave a glance on the area, he was literally alone, even his shock turrets were not around, they were going to be fixed and pass by new upgrades... or at least that was his plan before being pulled to this so "Important "mission.
He was loyal indeed, but he could not stand some Decepticons, especially Starscream, and it was always annoying to hear him talking about his rank, it was the only thing holding him from ripping the seeker's wings off and beat him with them. BUT, this was not the situation, he had to focus and make sure there were no intruders around, and even make a map of the area! That would be enough to distract himself, at least for a while.
The mech opened his shoulder compartment and pulled his modified datapad and began to slide around, automatically creating a virtual map on his tool during his movimentation, after getting 60% of the area scan complete, he could take a break a break now, after all, the night was long, there was nothing to worry about. Terrashock pulled a old container that was close to the area and sat on it, making a noise of metal bending, he grumbled a bit. "I am not dhat heavy..", he drummed his digits on the side of the container and relaxed a bit, he even thought about drinking a high-grade, but it would probably mess up with his job, so for now, the mech deciced to focus his optics on the forest, simply checking it, and it did not take too much to him fall into a deep thought.

Shiftlock didn't have anything do other than keep up the search for the other Autobots. She hadn't received word from any of them, especially Prime, and that was most concerning of all. Having scanned her new Earth-vehicle alt mode, she was winding her way along the black top that ran through the woody hills and back country near where she had located the remains of Wheeljack's ship.
The claw marks all over it were not a good sign.
She had her suspicions as to what left them, and she had prayed that it was just her imagination.
Her headlights on high, her engines were on full burn. It wouldn't be hard for someone making maps out in the rough to spot her approach.

Terrashock tried to distract himself drinking the normal energon cube, that would be enough for now, maybe when he was done he could get a high-grade. He took a sip on it and kept looking around, giving some lazy blinks before standing up, he did not want to fall in recharge there, and patrolling during the night in a peaceful ambient during the NIGHT was not helping, so sitting for too much time would make him fall in recharge in minutes, he stretched himself and gave some little but noisy jumps to keep himself active.
The combaticon rolled his optics in disinterest and began to slide around again to finish his map, before he could even reach 62%, he heard the loud noise of a engine on the woods, giving a quiet hiss, he would begin to walk towards the area to check what was going on, he could see the lights on the dark, and he knew whatever it was, it could not be a Decepticon, as nobot communicated him about a guest.
"Oh, great, dhat is ALL I wanted, now I will get attacked by a bunch of autobots and have to hear about dheir story about how dhe autobot side is dhe good side..
Terrashock transformed into his alt mode, a EE-9 Cascavel and turned his own headlights on, moving towards the vehicle while getting speed, instead of slamming himself against the target like usual, he would mess with the intruder by stopping right where they were going and waited for the impact. Now that would be some painful speedbumper.

(OOC Argh, sorry this too so long! Enjoy some music to go with this!) There wasn't going to be any impact, sadly. The well-balanced little Mazda oversteered, and simply slid around the roadblock, back tires kicking up desert dust. Soon she was immediately behind Terrashock. "You're gonna have to do better than that pal! Learn how to drive!" she taunted, before backing up, whipping around and continuing down the road.

[ It is fine.]
Terrashock was ready for a impact.. but it never happened at all, his turret followed the quick reaction of the wrecker, obviously confused, he really did not see that coming. He gave a quiet grumble, in a mix of annoyance and confusion, honestly, he could not care less if she was trying to offend him. "Is dhat dhe best you could come up with..? Bleh.." He shook the turret in disapproval, and when he noticed the car was leaving, he simply turned around, he was supposed to guard, not to go after autobots, he hated chasing others, he was a ambush soldier not a speedster.
He would shrug if he was on his robot form, like he always used to do on those situations, he never liked to "waste time" he always had something better to do, if somebot was going after some crazy autobot who smelt like burnt tires would not be him, maybe Knock Out as he probably would see it as a race.. or Starscream because he never likes to be offended, or touched, or looked at, or..nevermind, it was Starscream. He kept on his alt form and moved out of the road, he needed to get that map done yet.
He moved down to the area between the woods to proceed with his work, the hatch of the turret would open to show a large scanner, as there were too many trees, it was better to finish it scanning instead of taking them all down to pass, it would be such a waaaaaste of ammo... or time. Everything that was not related to guns or his work were a waste of time to him.

Shiftlock slammed on the breaks.
Wait a minute. She wasn't being chased? Or shot at? Or anything....?
"Okay what the slag," she cursed, transforming out of vehicle mode, placing her hands on her hips and looking into the woods. "I must be losing my touch. That always works." Not willing to let this one drop, and taking Terrashock's lack of interest as a kind of professional insult, she jogged off into the woods to go find him.
"HEY! GET BACK HERE! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE INSULTED!"

Terrashock hummed a music quietly, sounded like "I am the Warlock", some music that he heard before, at least some humans were good on making music, but it would not stop him from killing them all or exploding cities for fun. His scanners kept doing the job while he waited, moving the turret around, taking a brief look at the ambient before having the silence ruined with some yell.
Was it that hard to have some peace on a place like that? Autobots are such a fragging plague.. at first he wanted to keep quiet to avoid being spotted, but on the worst of the hypothesis, she would keep yelling again and again, or find him and yell right on his radars.
He transformed and slammed his pedes on the ground, shaking the area close to him before walking towards the area where the femme seemed to be at. With a shrug, he looked at the wrecker, not pleased to be disturbed during his night shift. "I wasn't, it is a waste of time to chase autobots, I need to work, you know. And why would be insulted? Dhat would be pointless.."

Shiftlock stared at Terrashock as if he'd suddenly sprouted a new head. "Y... you're not gonna shoot at me? Not even a little?" she asked, wide-lensed. She couldn't believe it. A Decepticon that wasn't the usual battle-hungry pit-bred gladiator willing to chase her down and try to kill her just because she happened to be in the same general area! UNPOSSIBLE.
Gingerly, Shiftlock reached forward and poked at him with a digit. Just to test and make sure he wasn't a hallucination.

Terrashock stared back and shook his helm in denial. "Not even a little, you are not shooting at me, are you? Guess not, so priorities comes first, and it clearly does not involve shooting autobots or going after dhem;" He was starting to feel awkward about that, he just wanted to finish his job, but he always had to deal with some autobot jumping out of nowhere.
And at most of occasions they had lines like "Give up, drop your guns" like if somebot would really do that... he just HATED that. But at least this one did not come up with the same story.. just..complained about him not being insulted by her words.. what was weird, coming from a autobot, why does she even care about that?
When he felt that digit poking his chassis, he looked down to stare at it for a moment, he kept in silence for a minute before poking her back.

Shiftlock poked Terrashock back, staring straight up at him, challenge in her ruby lenses.
"... Come on. Get angry. Show SOMETHING! You're making me feel bad here!"

Terrashock tilted his helm a bit and poked back, not understanding the logic of being poked, but as it seemed to be a way to express themselves, he was just repeating the gesture. "Why would I do dhat? I already told you I just want to work.. if you NEED others to get angry at you to feel better..dhen you should try to find a new hobby...because dhat is really awkward."
His stare was just the usual "Poker face" style, he lacked ways to express himself as his "Lips" were actually sharp teeth, and he just had six red glowing optics lacking ways to really show if he was happy, annoyed, unless he was grumbling or giving sadistic grins, but those could not fit on this situation.
"What is even dhe point on dhis? Seriously, just go, if you want to keep bothering me to fight or get angry, you can try, I have something important to finish."

Shiftlock just looked up at Terrashock like she was ....
... about to cry? What the frag. She really looked like she was about to CRY.

Terrashock looked at Shiftlock with a confused expression, what the frag was she doing..? He blinked some and focused his optics on her faceplate, now looking concerned, well, at least something close to that. "What is wrong? Did I say anything wrong..?"
The Combaticon had no idea why she was acting like that and also did not know how to solve the problem, so for now what he could do was stare and wait, he was not exactly knew for being good at dealing with feelings, unless they were hate and anger.

"Insulting Decepticons and getting them angry at me is what I DO!" Shiftlock wailed sadly. "And... and here you are, and you're not mad and shooting at me or anything and that means I'm a complete failure!" She leaned forward face-first onto Terrashock's chest plates and sobbed against him. "I'll be the laughing stock of the Autobots! I CAN'T DO MY JOB!"

"...Most autobots I saw do dhat, so I don't know why you are so sad about it. And I just don't see why I would be angry or trying to shoot you, dhe time makes you wiser, you know.. and if you are good in fighting, you are not a failure..and-", damm. He did not see that coming.. what was she DOING? Physical contact with the enemy? That was insanity.. what kind of autobot would do that? And he did want to deal with somebot crying right on his chest, it felt really awkward.
Awkward enough to make his radars move up in confusion, his shoulders platings tried to keep themselves down even if it was almost a instinct to get them up and draw his weapons on anybot too close. "Ehh.. you won't.. dhey don't know about dhis, and you can do your job just fine, you are just dealing with a old bot, it is difficult to affect dhem, you know.." He moved a servo up and patted her helm carefully, not even sure if that was a good idea.
