Adapting Feature Characters For Game Use:
All Transformers characters from any universe are available to be adapted into the game. The Adaptation process runs along these lines:
1) If the character has a Transformers Prime Toy or Transformers Prime Cartoon Appearance, this becomes the default version of the character for this game. The cartoon version usually takes precedence over the toy version, but there's wiggle room if there's some interesting point or game-worthy history or ability the toy version has that the show does not. You are allowed to cherry pick the best tidbits between the two to make the best representation of the character as possible.
2) If the character has a War For Cybertron/Fall Of Cybertron appearance (but not a TF Prime version), this becomes the default base for the character's adaptation next.
3) If the character has a Transformers Exodus/Exiles Appearance (but not Prime or WFC/FOC), this is the next default source for the character's adaptation basis.
4) If the character has an IDW-verse Appearance (But not the other three listed above), this is the next default source for the character's adaptation basis.
5) If the character doesn't appear in any of the above, take any information the character does have and adapt it to fit within the Transformers Prime universe.
Mixing Information:
Sometimes when you're adapting a character, one version might have more information, history and personality data than any of the others. Or maybe a Transformers Prime character you want to play has only two lines worth of history. Or you may like aspects of a character that are spread across multiple incarnations in multiple series. It is perfectly okay to cherry-pick and build a composite background and personality from multiple character appearances in different Transformer universes. Just make sure it doesn't conflict with anything you'd find in Transformers Prime, or our game's history file.
